SnK: Prayers Won't Save Us Now

Hellooooo lovelies~~

I am finally back from my long awaited absence and lo and behold, I too have been caught up in the latest craze/ fandom: Shingeki no Kyojin, also know as "Attack on Titan". I've read all the manga chapters that have been released, kept up with the latest episodes of the anime and can I just say...I LOVE IT! Both the storyline and characters so far have really captivated me being both interesting and jam packed with a combination of action, horror, gore and drama.

Definitely my type of thing.

Who to cosplay you ask? Well of course that was the first thing on my mind too! Like I said above, there are just too many amazing characters to choose from and when I eventually settled on (Lance Corporal) Rivaille...I found that there were already a handful of other amazing cosplayers _{most of my idols} having already done so. Then ONE bottle of red facepaint, FIVE hours and some prosthetic makeup later....BAM. Colossal Titan _{I swear there was no pun intended "OTL Just like how he actually appeared haha!}. So there you have it! How my Colossal Titan came to be and I have decided that I will cosplay him because I'm about 158cm and will be the most chibi titan ever xD

About the makeup

To achieve Colossal Titan's facial structure, I basically had to "remodel" my face to look like his via the use of prosthetics (liquid latex) for the most part, on my brow area and nose. In the later stages of post-production, Photoshop was used just to accentuate certain features (i.e. Cheekbones) further to create an almost sunken in and hollow look. Over this I applied concealer before facepaint and added details by painting them on using different shades of red to create the muscle-like sections and as for the teeth, I used false acrylic nails which were each trimmed and filed down before being glued to my face.
