Hellloooo everyone~

Just another quick upload on my part as I went to see the film, 'Rise of the Guardians' yesterday! I had seen the trailers as well as heard of all the positive feedback from the film before I actually went to see it, and the character that really caught my attention was none other than Jack Frost. So, wardrobe hunting pursued and soon I was on my way to creating something that Jack might wear casually, so that I could cosplay him to the screening.

About the costume

As I didn't have/ couldn't find a blue hoodie to work with, and considering the day of the screening would be hot, I tried to put together just something that Jack might wear on a casual basis? All I did was take a grey t-shirt, dye it darker before spray painting a gradient of both white and silver spray paint onto the shirt. For the finer details of the snowflake pattern around the collar, I used a white chalk-like texta to draw those on once the garment was dry. You can't see it in this photo, but up close there are details of 'freshly fallen snow' a.k.a Flour. I sprinkled/ threw flour around the collar area for a bit more authenticity and texture.

So yeah... kind of a crazy thing to do just to see a movie right? xD Enjoy~
